We are thrilled to extend a massive welcome to you as we proudly unveil our brand-new website and officially launch our business in the exciting realm of the asphalt pavement industry.
A little about us...
We are Jenika & Ash, footy rivals turned best friends and business partners. We may not be aligned when it comes to our NRL teams but one thing is for certain, we have always bonded over our passion for abolishing outdated gender biases. Our tactics have always been simple, let our actions do the talking. Our first success dates back to 2018 where we were tired of the mixed touch rugby teams pushing their girls out to the wings and excluding them from attacking opportunities. We saw an easy fix here - recruit all the girls who were being overlooked, register our own all-female touch team and take out the mixed division. #winning

Switching over to the asphalt industry, we are playing a similar game. We want to see more females & non-binary people get the opportunity to jump in the middle rather than getting stuck out on the wing or perhaps more specifically, we don't want anyone feeling like they are just in the team to be a 'tick box' on site. Anyone who knows us will agree that once we get an idea in our heads, we are too competitive to not follow through.
Amarapave wasn't started to just pave roads; we are paving the way (bad pun intended) for a transformative change throughout the industry that focuses on creating a culture of belonging & inclusion. The name 'Amara' is a name used throughout the world with meanings such as everlasting, immortal, grace and kindness. We feel that these words reflect our core values and speak true to our culture.
Our logo colours were choosen to represent both the colours of the non-binary flag and our Melbourne touch footy uniform to remind us that we are out here playing for purpose.
With all that being said, join us on our mission to abolish the unconscious biases embedded in our industry. Whether you want to play on the team or just cheer us on from the sidelines, we would love your support!
